Concept for discussion

See which long-lead equipment needs a decision, and why

LeadGate is a proposed delivery desk for long-lead equipment. It would turn vendor emails into a maintained equipment register, a short delivery-risk report and follow-up drafts that your team approves. The page below shows what that could look like, using five fictional equipment lines.

What a customer would receive

Sample weekly delivery-risk report

Fictional demonstration data
How to read this: the approved register is what the customer already holds. A pending vendor update is a date the supplier proposed that a person has not yet approved. Pending dates are never treated as approved.
Values come from the same dataset as the walkthrough, the dashboard and the CSV export. Delivery buffer = required-on-site date minus calculated arrival, in calendar days. It is not a proven schedule float. Schedule impact needs the PM's confirmation.
The proposal

How the proposed service would work

1
Organize
AI organizes vendor updates and proposes extracted dates.
2
Review
An experienced expeditor reviews those dates against the source and flags missing information.
3
Deliver
The customer receives a maintained equipment register, a delivery-risk summary and follow-up drafts for approval.

We are exploring this service. It is not operating today. This page uses simulated extraction on hand-written sample emails, not live AI or email access.

What the desk would and would not do

Would

  • Track vendor updates for the lines you share
  • Report delivery buffers and missing information
  • Draft follow-ups for your team to review and send

Would not

  • Guarantee delivery
  • Contact suppliers on its own
  • Change purchase orders
  • Make spending decisions
Your team controls supplier messages and project decisions. Any schedule impact needs your PM's confirmation.

Let's talk

How do you track long-lead equipment today?

If this example looks like a problem your team deals with, we would like to talk it through during a walkthrough of the sample report and the review step. This page is a concept for discussion, so there is nothing to buy or sign up for here.
